Be Part of the 2024 Huerfano Maker Convention – Celebrating Creativity, Sparking Innovation, and Building Community Connections
The 2024 Huerfano Maker Convention is coming to Walsenburg on December 7th, 2024, offering an exciting day filled with creativity, innovation, and community connections. Held across two venues—the Spanish Peaks Library and the Museum of Friends—the convention will feature:
Interactive STEAM workshops and presentations
Engaging speakers
Live maker and creative demonstrations
A Maker Market at the Museum of Friends
Networking opportunities with regional creatives
Door prizes and community engagement activities
We are also inviting local artisans, makers, and creatives to participate in the Maker Market at the Museum of Friends. This is a fantastic opportunity to present your work, connect with other creatives, and engage with Southern Colorado’s vibrant creative network.
A $20 vendor fee is required to participate, with all proceeds supporting STEAM initiatives through the Wheelhouse Library Lab and the Museum of Friends. The application deadline is November 24th, 2024.
